SUBJECT: PROPOSED CONTINUING EDUCATION UNIT (CEU) POLICY

The Professional Engineers Board wishes to advise that, at a Special Called General Meeting held on 27th February 2026, the engineers present agreed that the Board should implement a Continuing Education Unit (CEU) system as part of its policy framework, effective for the 2027 registration cycle, in accordance with the proposed Regulations.

To this end, it was agreed that the Board would sponsor one Professional Ethics course and one Building Code course annually. Additional CEU hours may be obtained through approved providers, a list of which can be found in the proposed Continuing Education Regulations CEU – List Of Approved Providers – Professional Engineers Board

The Board invites all registered engineers and stakeholders to submit comments and feedback on the proposed CEU Policy and Regulations by 30th June, 2026.

In the meantime, the Board is sponsoring a Professional Ethics course scheduled for 12th June, 2026, for which registration is currently open Ethics Course | 12th June, 2026 @ 10 a.m – Professional Engineers Board. Engineers are encouraged to participate in this course as part of their ongoing professional development.
