The CARICOM Regional Organisation for Standards and Quality (CROSQ) invites you to “The CARICOM Energy Efficiency Labelling Programme: An Impact Analysis” event – the online presentation of its Impact Study, which was conducted by consultants Estudios Energeticos, Consultores (EEC), to determine the expected effect of the introduction and implementation of the Regional Harmonised Energy Efficiency Labelling Scheme for Domestic Appliances. This presentation will take place on December 12, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The presentation will cover topics ranging from understanding energy efficiency and its benefits, to case studies of the piloting Member States of Belize, Jamaica, Saint Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago, as well as recommendations for implementing countries and future implementers of the Scheme. We will also discuss whether regulation is the way to go vs EE market competitiveness driving such scheme, as well as looking at the models and assumptions of the scheme.
